Proudly hosting the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, also known as the Egyptian Museum, is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Cairo, Egypt. More than 120,000 artifacts of great value are kept there, with a variety of them on exhibit. The Egyptian Museum is the largest in Africa and is situated in a 1901 structure in Tahrir Square.
