Hadrian's Gate
Overview
While there are lots of ancient monuments in or near Antalya, one of them that catches your eye is the Hadrian’s Gate. Made in 130 AD, it was built to commemorate the Roman Emperor Hadrian's visit to the city. The gate itself is about 26.2 feet high with three arches, all of it still in impressive condition despite the gate’s age. Even though it is in an aged state it is still heavily visited by locals and by tourists after a stop near the beach.
