Itinerary
Begin your adventure upon arrival at Cairo airport. Our tour team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Our first stop will be the Egyptian Museum. Then we will continue to the Khan el Khalili bazaar to browse vibrant fabrics, handicrafts, and antique displays. Our next stop will be the National Museum of Egypt located in El Fustat, the first capital of Egypt during the early Islamic era. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is in the heart of the old Cairo city with ancient artifacts dating back to 4,500 years. Stop by for lunch nearby. Our last stop for the day will be the Salah El-Din Citadel, which dates back to 1176 when it served as the capital until 1860. Tourists can also visit the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque or Alabaster Mosque in the citadel. Transfer back to the hotel to stay overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel, prepare to drive to Giza. From there, we will set off to explore the Giza tour, the first stop on the journey being the Giza Pyramid Complex on the plateau. There, we will see the Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Take a short break to go on a camel ride through the sand beside the soaring pyramids at Giza and go toe-to-toe with the incredible Sphinx. Next, we will visit the Saqqara Step Pyramid. Afterward, our next stop will be a thorough exploration of the City of Memphis. Memphis city served as the first recognized capital of Ancient Egypt under the direction of its founder, King Menes. Transfer back to the hotel to check out and drive to the airport to catch the flight to Aswan. Arrive in Aswan and stay overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Alexandria. Arrive in Alexandria and start your tour by traveling to Alexandria and start with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Next, we will visit the President Sadat Museum and the open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the First, which was found underwater nearby. Pause for lunch nearby. We will then visit the insides of the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the rest of the city’s attractions. Our first stop for the second day will be a visit to the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria with the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria which were discovered under the East harbor of Alexandria. The car will then take you to visit the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Pause for lunch nearby. From there, we will see the outside of Quaitbay castle which was built on the same site as the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and check out to transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Luxor. Arrive in Luxor where our tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel to check in. From there, our Luxor adventure will begin. Get ready for a drive to Dendera, where we will begin our tour of one of Egypt's best-preserved temple complexes, located 60km north of Luxor. The 40,000 square meter complex temples, chapels, and shrines, were gradually constructed over many centuries. Next, we will see Dendera's famous 2000-year-old Temple of Hathor, with its exquisitely decorated ceiling. Afterward, drive back to the hotel where tourists are free to spend the day at their leisure. Take a stroll around town or enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel pool to relax and prepare for the next day.
After breakfast, get ready for the tour of Luxor’s famous West Bank. Our first stop will be the famous Valley of the Kings, which is filled with beautifully decorated tombs, including the tombs of Ramses II, Seti I, Amenhotep II, and King Tutankhamun. After exploring this site, the tour will continue towards the site of the Valley of the Queens and the beautiful limestone, colonnaded Temple of Hatshepsut, who was one of only three Egyptian ruling queens. Next, we will see the enormous 18m-high Colossi of Memnon, which is the remains of the temple of Amenophis III. Afterward, there will be a short lunch break. Our last stop of the day will be the site of the colossal Temple of Karnak, which is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, chapels, halls, and obelisks. Afterward, transfer back to the hotel for a stay overnight.
Catch a late breakfast, and prepare to check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport to catch the flight back home.
